Meet Ellen
Ellen has an extensive background in the Beauty and Wellness industry, incorporating Aesthetics, Cosmetology, Nutrition, Yoga and Fitness. Having worked for some of the most renowned Cosmetic Companies with headquarters in New York City and Paris and after studying Business and Marketing, she began her well-established career as an Aesthetician and Cosmetologist, working her way up into Senior Management positions.
Ellen held leading positions in Aesthetician Training for Corporate Spa Divisions, Sales Training, Product Education and Public Relations for skincare and fragrances. Along with this came brief appearances on QVC representing and selling Bath and Body products, as well as Skin Care on the national broadcast show “Can We Shop” with the infamous Joan Rivers as host.
Her knowledge of the skin and it’s physiology cultivated her interest in the field of Nutrition and Wellness. She enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC, affiliated with Columbia University Teacher’s College, receiving her certification as a Holistic Health and Nutrition Counselor. Her passion for health and wellness led her to further studies in Hatha Yoga, becoming a certified 200 hour Yoga Instructor in the Anusara Method which emphasizes the

Universal Principles of Alignment
These principles are guidelines on how to align your body, heart and mind in a system that provides both integration and safe opening so circulation is optimal and strength, good health and wellbeing are fostered. This groundwork encouraged her to continue her studies, receiving an additional 100 hour certification in Anatomy, Restorative Yoga and Therapeutics, a practice that not only empowers individuals but makes the body stronger and more flexible, healing injuries faster and evening out imbalances that naturally exist in the body. Her passion for teaching and sharing with others the bliss and joy she experienced in a gentle, restorative practice became her area of focus as a Yoga Instructor. Ellen is extremely grateful for her numerous mentors and teachers throughout the years that taught her to embrace yoga, meditation and breath work as ritual in her daily life. She continues to participate in workshops and yoga classes.
Ellen’s background in Beauty, Aesthetics, Nutrition and Wellness has translated into an informative website offering advice in all these areas including breathing exercises, stress reduction and a healthier way of life. Her mission is to empower women and celebrate their inner beauty.
Ellen continues to participate in workshops and yoga classes to improve her knowledge and offerings as a teacher.
Ellen is available for private and semi-private lessons instructing beginner level yoga, restorative yoga and gentle stretching exercises.
